He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Dale Wilson and Ila Pearl Soles Wilson; and his great-niece Madilynn Cobb. He is survived by: his children, Jacob Wheat of Biloxi, MS and Alexis Wheat of Biloxi, MS; his siblings, Steven Wilson (Marie) of Fair Bluff, NC, Angie Eaker of Conway, SC, Rhonda Strickland (Rex) of Cerro Gordo and Crystal Arnold (Michael) of Biloxi, MS; his nieces and nephews, Aaron, Zach (Mary Catherine), Christian (D. J.), Kayla, Amber, Madison, Brinkly (David), Emma (Justin) and Ainsley (Dominick); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Aialyah, Eleana, Remi, Waylon, Lennon, Evelyn, Elsie and Hudson.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel (300 E 5th St, Tabor City, NC 28463). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at the Powell Cemetery.
