He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Whiddon and Eva Mae Whiddon; and his brothers, Norman, Richard and Ben Whiddon.
He is survived by: his children, John Whiddon Jr. (Karla), Heath Whiddon (Charity) and Felicia Denmark (Jeremy); his grandchildren, Kirsten Barron (Abe), Cody, Ashe, Bailey, Emmalyn, Preston, Mabry, Aiden and Kayce; his great grandchild Trayce; and his siblings, Carrie Akins, Elizabeth Hicks, Eva Akins, Jessie Whiddon and James Whiddon.
A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Tallahassee National Cemetery.
