He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Morris; his son John E Morris II (Cassie); his granddaughters, Bonnie Cathryn Morris and Carson Morris Crews (Braxton); his great grandchild Keaton Ryn Crews; his stepson Walter G Hicks; his stepgrandchildren, Greyson Hicks, Brooke Hicks and Mattie Morris; and his brothers, Frankie Morris (Trudy), Mark Morris (Darlene) and Dwight Morris (Wanda). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
