With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Daniel William Barnes III of Perry, Florida, born in Quitman, Georgia, who passed away on December 9, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Daniel leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Hazel; his daughter Cheryl Parker; and his daughter-in-law Dale Barnes. He is survived by: his wife Angela Barnes; his children, Dan Barnes (Mary), Donnie Barnes (Debbie), Shiela Brumbaugh (Chris), Larry Barnes, Jim Grambling and Tracy Hall (Alan); and his son-in-law Keith Parker. He is also survived by his 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and many other family members.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lakeside Baptist Church (3111 US-27, Perry, FL 32347). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
