He was predeceased by: his parents, Alcide Joyal and Blanche Joyal; his sister Marlene Joyal; his former wife Edith Joyal; and his stepson Kenneth Pitts.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Joyal; his brother George Joyal; and his children, Rob, Chris, James (Kevin) and Barb (Jim). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
