He was predeceased by: his parents, Glover Carlton and Corrine Carlton; his wife Pansy Hendry Carlton; his son Mark Anthony Carlton; and his siblings, Edna Parker, Fred Carlton, Reba Blackshear and Mildred Meadows.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Hawkins (Vance Burford) of Perry, FL and Charles Carlton (Diane) of Perry, FL; his grandchildren, Amber Carlton and Wesley Carlton; and his siblings, Cecil Carlton, Anita Carlton and Gaye Register. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Burns Funeral Home (1400 N Johnson Stripling Rd, Perry, FL 32347). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
