He was predeceased by: his father Morris; his brother Allen; his mother Millie; and his children, Samuel and Linda Shoemake.
He is survived by: his children, Steven Kalishman of Gainesville, FL, Frances Chesnutt (Pensacola), Jenny Druxman (Baltimore) and Matthew Kalishman (New York). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
