He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Diane Gale Sammet (Shear); his parents, Paul Gerhardt and Bonnie Lyon Sammet; and his daughters, Kathleen Hatchett (Todd) of Florida and Caren Fuller (Tom) of South Carolina.
