She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Mercer and Emma Mercer; and her siblings, Raymond, William, Catherine and Ruth Ann.
She is survived by: her husband Stephen Kurz; her brother Arthur Mercer (Carol) of Melville, NY; and her caregiver Andrew Lubyck. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
