He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Maines and Winifred Youd Maines; his former wife Mary Joanne; and his sisters, Marilyn and Pat.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Maines; his children, Howard D. Maines, III, Susan M. Maines Overmyer and Douglas Maines; his sister Gail; and his stepchildren, Jerry, Kathy and Angie. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church (9945 Hillview Dr, Pensacola, FL 32514). A procession will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 10:20 AM at the Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel (2276 Airport Blvd, Pensacola, FL 32504). Visitation will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A rosary will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 24th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Barrancas National Cemetery (1 Cemetery Rd, Pensacola, FL 32508).
