With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lewanda P. McKee in Pensacola, Florida, born in Foley, Alabama, who passed away on August 28, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Lewanda may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Lewanda touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her sons, Troy and Blake McKee; her siblings, Floyd Brock and Hilda Jordan; her husband Douglas McKee; her parents, James Powell and Myrtice Powell; and her brother Gene Powell.
