Judy Ann (Joyner) Campbell Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judy Ann (Joyner) Campbell (Pensacola, Florida), who passed away on May 23, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Judy was born in her grandparents' home in Evergreen, Alabama and was of the Baptist faith. She was a 1960 graduate of Pensacola Technical High School.

Judy helped her husband with his used automobile dealership and was a Title Clerk for Muldon Ford and Mitchell Motors. She was a cashier at Walmart in Ensley.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, Leroy and Vermelle Joyner, her husband, Jimmy Campbell, her in laws, James and Winnie Campbell, her sister in law, Kay Joyner and various aunts and uncles.

She is survived by her brother, Ken Joyner, her daughter, Sherri Gehrdes (Peter), her grandson, Jonathan Gehrdes of Minneapolis, Minnesota, her granddaughter, Bethany Pendleton (Nathan), her nephews, Kenny and Randy Joyner and her niece, Jennifer Foster.

Special thanks to the nurses and staff at Coral Bay at Pensacola and Vitas Healthcare who provided wonderful care during her recent illness.

Though Judy has departed this earthly realm, their legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May their spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 4th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Faith Chapel Funeral Home and Crematory (1000 South Highway 29, Cantonment, Florida 32533). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 4th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.

Family will gather after the funeral at the home of Sherri Gehrdes for lunch.
