She was predeceased by: her parents, Buford "Bob" Howell and Mildred Gibson Howell; her siblings, Jimmy Howell, Dawn Howell Davis, Phyllis Howell Miller and Ronald Howell; and her grandson Josiah Paul McElhaney.
She is survived by: her husband James C. McElhaney, Jr.; her children, Joshua McElhaney of Bratt, FL, Candice McElhaney Dawe of Spanish Fort, AL and Stephani McElhaney Penn of Granite City, IL; and her grandchildren, Claire, Lily, Jabe, James, Libby, Maevree, Lucy, Landry, Jesse and Marlee.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Grace Fellowship Church (1412 E Nashville Ave, Atmore, AL 36502). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Grace Fellowship Church.
