It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Journei V. Smith (Pensacola, Florida), who passed away on December 17, 2018, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel and Leona; his brothers, Donell, Blondy and Wilson; and his sons, Donell and Joseph.

He is survived by: his wife Ethel Stabler Smith; his children, Sharon Thompson (Reggie), Karen Carper (Reggie), Marian Shaw (John) and Johnell Smith; his grandchildren, Brad (Ashley), Heather (Sara), Ryan, Kyle, J. J., Ricky, Dakota and Trinity; and his great grandchildren, Haley, Liam and River.
