She was predeceased by: her husband Silas Aaron Dixon; her sister Louise Blackman; and her parents, James Martin and Nora Wilson. She is survived by: her sons, David Merchant and Jeff Merchant (Connie); her granddaughter Jennifer Ringate (Wayne); her great grandchildren, Andrew Ringate and Elijah Ringate (Bekah); her stepgrandson Ron Hunter (Pam); and her great grandchild Michael Hunter Lauren (Tabitha).
