She was predeceased by: her parents, Dona Lee and Gus Lee; her daughter Sandy Downing; and her husband Gary McDonald. She is survived by: her daughter Kathy Sherman; her grandchildren, Josh Larsen, Cristina Jones, Shianne, Savannah and Ethan; her son-in-law Doug Sherman; her great grandchildren, Dakota and Matthew; and her grandchildren, Isaiah, Amaya, Arayna, Elias, Zander and Nevaeh.

Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church (9301 Gulf Beach Hwy, Pensacola, FL 32507). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
