It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmy Chester Putman of Pensacola, Florida, who passed away on March 21, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Putman and Opal Putman; his son Raymond Putman; and his sister Maryann Bennett. He is survived by: his wife Rose; his sons, Richard Putman (Jeanna) of Seminole, AL and Ronald Putman (Barbara); his grandchildren, Raymond Putman Jr., Nicolas Putman of Pensacola, FL, Jenay Thi Dao (Lim) of San Diego, CA., Sophia Thi Putman and Talia Rose-Thi Putman of San Diego, CA.; his great grandchildren, Parker Thi Dao, Preston Dao of San Diego, CA. and Sebastion Selwyn of Pensacola, FL.; his adoptive son Joey Norris of Pensacola, FL.; and his siblings, Joe Putman and Mildred James (O'Fallon).
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to St. Anne's Catholic building fund in Bellview.
