With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Simon Hester (Pensacola, Florida), who passed away on April 16, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, James Simon is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that James Simon's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He is survived by: his wife Nella Mae; and his children, Russell Hester (Cristina Hester) of Molino, FL, Ronald Hester (Lori Bernard) of Robertson, NC, Patricia Jane Clemente of Molino and Karen Reichle (Jim Reichle) of Geneva, FL. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Victory Assembly of God (1895 Victory Rd, Cantonment, FL 32533-4729). A procession was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Bayview Memorial Park (3351 Scenic Hwy #90e, Pensacola, FL 32503).
