With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Ernest Barron of Pensacola, Florida, born in Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on June 25, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, James Ernst Barron and Juanita Fultz Barron; his wife Alice Jeannine Tucker Barron; and his brother Gary Scott Barron. He is survived by : his children, James Winston Tucker Barron of St. Joseph, IL and Jessica Juanita Barron (Rick Harder) of Pensacola, FL; his grandchildren, Makenzie Blaze Barron, Anthony Allen Barron, James Robert Tucker Barron, Hunter Scott Fleming and Allison Kate Harder; his siblings, Gloria Barron of Ashville, AL and Wayne Barron of Mulga, AL; and his sister-in-law Rose Marie Brieting of Demopolis, AL. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 2nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rockco Funeral Home (3715 AL-25, Montevallo, AL 35115). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 2nd 2024 at 11:45 AM at the Alabama National Cemetery (3133 Hwy 119, Montevallo, AL 35115). A reception will be held on Tuesday, July 2nd 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Rockco Funeral Home (3715 AL-25, Montevallo, AL 35115).
