He was predeceased by: his father Jessie Ray Pratt; his sister Judith Ann Pratt; and his friend Sherry Orsech. He is survived by: his wife Amanda; his daughter Kari Scott; his grandchildren, Logan, Laila and Riley Scott; his mother Helaria Pratt; and his sisters, Lorie Rani (Rodney) and Sheri Danser.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in Jim's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.
