She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Hovley and Odelia Hovley; her husband Garland Toomer; her siblings, Allen Hovley, Barbara Etcheberry and Linda Hanson; and her sons, Spencer and Gregory Toomer.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Toomer (Alisha), Curtis Toomer (Michele), Gayle Valdavia (Anthony), Lorry Toomer, Robin Toomer and Sandra Lawry (Gordon); and her siblings, Karen Wilcox, Jerry Hovley and Marvin Hovley.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that any donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
