She was predeceased by: her parents, Lukas Denton and Annie Maude Lee Denton; her husband Dr. Howard Gill; and her siblings, Ray, Mary, Hazel, Clara, Georgie, Sally, Pauline and Betty.

She is survived by: her children, Stanley Gill (Susan), Anne Syphard (Jack) and Jane Watt (Stuart); her grandchildren, Natalie Brown (Ted), Andrew Quintana, Luke Gill (Danielle), Samuel Gill, Claire Reutter and Will Reutter; her great grandchildren, Garrett Castle, Owen and Colin Brown; and her foster son Richard Memmelaar.
