He was predeceased by: his grandfather Larry Karnes; his uncle Donald Mitchem; and his son Steve Mitchem. He is survived by: his parents, Natalie Lynn Karnes Griffith of Pensacola, FL and Roger Franklin Griffith (Melanie) of North Carolina; his grandparents, Johnny, Linda Griffith of Tazewell, VA and Carol Karnes of Tazewell, VA; his uncle John Griffith of Kingsport, TN; and his aunt Bethany Karnes of Tazewell, VA.. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Peery & St. Clair Funeral Home (232 Ben Bolt Ave, Tazewell, VA 24651). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
