He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace G. Nealy Jr. and Marion DeVore Nealy; his brother Ken Nealy Sr.; his sister-in-law Sherle Nealy; his sister Linda; and his brother-in-law Charles Langston.

He is survived by: his wife Martha Bodden Nealy; his children, Dan Nealy (Melissa), Jennifer Nealy and Laura Meyer (Brian); his grandchildren, DJ Stearns (Kylie), Rachel Martin (Kennan), Nathaniel Meyer, Colin Meyer, Kate Nealy, Allie Nealy and William Nealy; and his siblings, Lannis Nealy and Marcia DeVore. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to consider planting a tree in his honor or donating to either Myrtle Grove Baptist Church or to the Gideons International.
