She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Jones and Lillian Jones; her husband Claude Thomas Welch; and her siblings, Raymond Jones, Jimmy Jones and Jean Shelton.
She is survived by: her sister Joyce Mathis; her children, Karen Morton (Harold), Brenda Welch, Tom Welch (Amy), Glenna Anderson (James) and Jennifer Welch; her grandchildren, Rachel Corker, Daniel Morton, John Grayson Welch, Michelle Shoumaker, Michael Welch, Bobby Joe Welch, Taylor Anderson and Elizabeth Chesser; and her sisters-in-law, Ruth McNeil and Shirley Jones. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Trahan Family Funeral Home (60 Industrial Blvd, Pensacola, FL 32503). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Barrancas National Cemetery (1 Cemetery Rd, Pensacola, FL 32508).
