He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Fields Jr. and Iris Zell Richards (Woody). He is survived by: his children, Sommer Rae Fields Rovira (Javier) and Matthew Chase Fields (Katie); his grandchildren, Stella AnnLouise Fields, Tucker Sullivan Fields, Bowen Matthew Fields and Scottlyn Gray Fields; and his siblings, Gregory Alan Fields (Kathy) and Karen Chiles (Craig). He is also survived by several nieces and a nephew.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Southland Christian Church (5001 Harrodsburg Rd, Nicholasville, KY 40356). A memorial service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:15 PM at the Camp Nelson National Cemetery (6980 Danville Rd, Nicholasville, KY 40356).
