With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dickie Mead of Pensacola, Florida, who passed away on October 27, 2024 at the age of 97. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dickie Mead to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Agnes Theodora Hansen and Charles Addison Mead, II; his sisters, June Elizabeth and Nancy Caroline; his wife Lynette Traxler Mead; and his siblings, Charles Addison III, June Braun and Nancy Hereford.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Britt Mead and Susan Mead Bonsignore (Bobby); and his granddaughters, Tina Hall (Kyle) and Nikki. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel (2276 Airport Blvd, Pensacola, FL 32504). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Redeemer Lutheran Church (333 Commerce St, Pensacola, FL 32507).
