He was predeceased by: his brother Nape Coley. He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, David Palmer (Jennifer), Matt Palmer (Kymber) and Karen Trawick (Justin); his mother Ernestine Gartman; and his siblings, Greg Palmer (Debbie), Donnie Gartman (Michelle), Susie Sentiff and Amy Gartman. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to "The Retreat, Hospice by Saad" and MD Anderson Cancer Center.
