He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Blodgett and Patricia Hamilton Blodgett; and his stepmother Joy Knowles Blodgett. He is survived by: his wife Martha Lee Pursley Blodgett; his son Ben Blodgett (Kristin); his grandchildren, Mia and Max; his siblings, Mike Blodgett (Marianne), Paul Blodgett (Jamie) and Beth Pogue Barr; his brother-in-law Lloyd Pursley; his niece Brandis Blodgett Cashdollar (Brock); and his nephews, Bryant Blodgett (Lauren), Stuart Blodgett (Lindsey) and Alex Blodgett (Sydney).
A celebration of life was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Trinity Presbyterian Church (3400 Bayou Blvd, Pensacola, FL 32504).
