He was predeceased by: his parents, Elisa Jamir and Pedro Gambala. He is survived by: his wife Geronima; his sisters, Avenida and Bella (Philippines); his son Gerald; his daughter-in-law Vanessa; his daughter Cecilia; his son-in-law Jonathan (New Orleans); and his grandchildren, Eryn, Aidan, Gabriella and Naomi.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Oak Lawn Funeral Home (619 N New Warrington Rd, Pensacola, FL 32506). A rosary was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Saint John the Evangelist Catholic Church (303 S Navy Blvd, Pensacola, FL 32507). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 12:45 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Barrancas National Cemetery (1 Cemetery Rd, Pensacola, FL 32508). A reception was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Fil-Am of Pensacola (234 W Oakfield Rd, Pensacola, FL 32503).
