He was predeceased by: his parents, Clemar Joseph Simon II and Carlene Johnson Simon; his son Clemar Joseph "Joey" Simon IV; his grandson Ashley Joseph Price; his brother Arthur Burke Simon; the mother of his children Mary Elizabeth Rodgers-Ridgard; and his great grandchild Nahla Burke Lappin.
He is survived by: his children, Tina Johnson (Burke), Toni Franklin Greene (Bob), Tracy Jones and Christopher Simon; and his grandchildren, Melissa Cannon, Kristina Simpson, Angela O'Shea, Kristen Bates, Daniel Franklin, Sara Brown, Bryan Price, Mary Frankel, Suzy Jones and Brittney Burnett. He is also survived by great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
