She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Kenneth Bates Jr. and Naoma Moss; her husband Chester Capers; her children, Rhonda Suder (Brewer), Selina Parker, Linda Parker, Dottie Parker, David Brewer, Jon Bates and Eric Cravey; her daughter-in-law Christine Bates (Jantzer); and her grandchildren, Wayne Francis, Austin Francis, Nattalie Bates, Sophia Suder, Liberty Bates, Emily Bates and Lucy Bates. She was also cherished by her four children.
