He was predeceased by: his wife Jean Kersey; his parents, Christine Kersey and Clem Kersey; and his brothers, Ted Kersey and Charles Trainum.
He is survived by: his sister Peggy Allen; his children, Robert Kersey, Kirk Thomas and Shannon Kersey (Montina); and his grandchildren, Sayler Thomas, Grayson Thomas, Christopher Reno (Danielle), David Kersey (Caitlin), Joshua Kersey (Jennifer) and Khloe Kersey. He is also survived by many great grand children, nieces and nephews.
