He was predeceased by: his parents, William K. Cowart, Sr. and Allie Reasoner Cowart. He is survived by: his wife Mary Nell Cowart; his children, Susan Brown (Wally), William K. Cowart III (Lynda) and Lisa Bodenheimer (Marc); his grandchildren, Bryson Bodenheimer, Katherine Cowart, Audrey Brown, Luke Cowart and Brooke Bodenheimer; and his sister Miriam Jackson. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
