It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Ascroft Jr. (Pensacola Beach, Florida), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on November 11, 2018, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his spouse Winifred A. "Sue" Ascroft; and his sibling Virginia Pote (Earl). He is survived by: his parents, William Ascroft, Sr. and Esther Alice Couper Ascroft; his children, Linda Ryan (late William), Michael Ascroft (Beth), Minch Ascroft, Jane Ascroft (late James Dwyer), Matthew Ascroft (Ariel), Ascroft Ryan and Michael Ryan (Elizabeth Rosenthal); his great grandchildren, Conor, Brynn, Colton and Ailynn; and his sibling-in-law John Burke (late Arlene). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
