He was predeceased by: his parents, James Avery and Lorena Avery. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Avery; his sister Sherrilyn; his stepsons, Matt Nelson (Katy) of Nashville, TN and Mark Nelson (Bethany) of Bonita Springs, FL; his grandchildren, Alexander and Alina Nelson of Bonita Springs, FL; his brother Teddy Avery (Sheila) of Dothan, AL; his nephews, Jimmy Avery of Seattle, WA and Kyle Bapp; and his niece Nicki Bapp Watson.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Charles' name to Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church.
