He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Harris Saunders and Charlie Saunders; his daughter-in-law Diane Walker-Saunders; his grandson Jesse Saunders; and his brothers, Franklin, Morris and Carl.
He is survived by: his wife Mildred Saunders; his children, Kenneth Saunders, Tony Saunders (Charlene) and Joan Saunders; his grandchildren, Danielle Saunders, Jammie Saunders, Chad Saunders (Catie), Heather McCarthy (Nolte), Dylan Hamilton (Kim) and Kayla Mulford (Everett); and his sister Nannie Mae Saunders Brock. He is also survived by his 22 great-grandchildren, his 3 great-great-grandchildren.
