She was predeceased by: her husband Forest E. "Woody" Smith; and her siblings, William, Ed Oswald, Grace Dempsey and Dorothy Semple.
She is survived by: her children, Forest "Woody" Smith, Jr. of Pembroke Pines, FL, Reggie Smith (Jane) of Bolingbrook, IL and Gale Miller of Creve Coeur, MO.; her grandchildren, Reggie J. Smith (Kelly), Julie Gatlin (Joe), Jenna Carrasquillo (Joe), Joe Diestel (Amber), Jill Kettle (Blake) and Christina Jarrett (Billy); her great grandchildren, Ben, Maddie Gatlin, Savannah, Jocelyn, Joey, Ariana, Mya Carrasquillo, Adam, John Kettle, Londyn, Lillie, Liam Diestel, Bethany and Hunter Jarrett; and her sibling-in-law Jerry Smith (Pam) of Glendale, AZ.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Ortmann-Stipanovich Funeral Home (12444 Olive Blvd, Creve Coeur, MO 63141). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Bellerive Gardens Cemetery (740 N Mason Rd, Creve Coeur, MO 63141).
