He is survived by: his children, Helen Halas (Jeffre), Judith Kraich (Andrew) and Joseph F. DeCaro, Jr. (Brittany); and his grandsons, Gregory Lukes, Joseph Rios, Justin Rios and Joseph DeCaro, III.
