He was predeceased by: his parents, Guillermo Ortiz and Julia Cuebas; and his brother Guillermo Ortiz. He is survived by: his wife Carmen Iris Ortiz; his children, Hector Kenneth Ortiz, Cynthia Ortiz-Correa (Alfonso Correa) and Andres Ortiz (Kelly Smith); his grandchildren, Adriana Correa, Javier Correa, Isabel Ortiz and Madelyn Ortiz; and his siblings, Ivan Ortiz, David Ortiz (Maria Romani) and Elba Ortiz (Javier Mercado).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care (1600 N University Dr, Pembroke Pines, FL 33024). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church (701 N Hiatus Rd, Pembroke Pines, FL 33026). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the South Florida National Cemetery (6501 S State Rd 7, Lake Worth, FL 33449).
