It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gordon H. Weekes (Pembroke Pines, Florida), who passed away on February 22, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Vernese M. Weekes; his children, Marcina Franklyn, Sophia Weekes Bedeau (Emond Bedeau), Wayne Weekes (Arlene Weekes) and Gordon H. Weekes, Jr. (Katriya Weekes); his grandchildren, Brian Franklyn, Sapphire Weekes-Melson (Hubert Melson, III), Aliyah Weekes, Angel Bedeau, Gordon Weekes, III, Hunter Weekes, Phillip Elamin and Brianna Williams; his siblings, Vira Clarke, Arnold Weekes, Slyvan Weekes (Doris Weekes) and Charles Calander; and his cousin Cerylene Kirton. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.
