He was predeceased by: his parents, Buford Phillips and Hazel Phillips; and his brother Phil Phillips (Ruby). He is survived by: his wife Judy Phillips; his children, Susan Feagan (Chris) and Pepper Phillips (Stacie); his grandsons, Jamie Feagan (LeeAnne) and Tim Feagan (Joanna); his great grandchildren, Kennedy, Jordan, Grant, Easton and Miles; his siblings, Ellis Phillips (Virginia) and Jayne Allen (Robert); and his brother-in-law Bill Burton (Carole). He is also survived by niece and five nephews.

The family prefers donations be made to charities of choice in lieu of flowers.
