He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie James and Mildred Commander. He is survived by: his wife Irene Commander of Panama City; his son Willie James "Jamie" Commander, III (Angi) of Wewahitchka, FL; his siblings, Charles Commander (Pat) of Lynn Haven, Sarah Everitt (Jim) of Lynn Haven and Judy Smith (Calvin) of Greenhead; his stepchildren, David Conrad (Nicole) of Birmingham, AL and Katie Seymour (Ryan) of Great Falls, MT; his grandchildren, Olivia, Claire, Cadance, Ryley, Charlotte, Owen, Cooper, Cannan and Camryn; his great grandchild Camden; his aunt Ruby Ryals of Troy, AL; and his nieces and nephews, Shanun, Charlie, Sommer and Tracy.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Emerald Coast Fellowship youth building fund in memory of Mr. James Commander.
