He was predeceased by: his parents, John Deal and Gladys Deal. He is survived by: his sister Merle Deal; his wife Cathy Deal; his children, Mike Burggren (Nancy), James Burggren (Kelley), Steve Burggren (Stacy), Toni O'Dell and Erin Fitch; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Geddings (Dustin), Jessica Knight (Mike), Courtney Burggren, Kayla Kline (Mason), James Burggren Jr., Jaymee Dubin (Nathan), Cassidy Rine (Chance), Chelsea Kyseth (Tristan), Rebecca DeLeon (Hector), Katelyn Burggren, Willie Spence and Tristan O'Dell.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Southerland Family Funeral Homes and Crematory (100 E 19th St, Panama City, FL 32405).
