He was predeceased by: his brother Michael "Tyron" Boyette; his uncles, Ira Russ and Wilton Boyette; and his grandparents, Ruby Bailey and Cary Boyette.

He is survived by: his parents, Willard Boyette and Barbara Fry (Melissa Evans); his siblings, Sarah Evans, Michael Evans (Megan) and Daniel Evans; his grandchildren, Izabella and Gabriel Evans; his aunts and uncles, Rex Boyette (Linda), Andrew Russ, Ronnie Russ, Michael Russ, Christina Venable (Charles) and Linda Turner; and his nephew Michael Damien Boyette. He is also survived by his family and friends.
