With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Taeko Dobbel of Panama City, Florida, who passed away on May 19, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Tora Shibata and Yoshiji Shibata; her husband John Dobbel; her children, Ruben Barrow (Susan), Robert Barrow (Debbie), Rickey Barrow (Tonya) and Brenda Dawkins; and her grandchildren, Christina Nelson (Zachary), Bobby Joseph Barrow (Samantha), Garreth Dawkins (Amber), Rachel Owen (Brain), Jacob Dawkins (Robbie), Sarah Cormany (Mike), Adam Dawkins (Jana), James Barrow (Michelle), Brooke Caraway Jason (Kevin), Jerad Barrow (Trisha), Jeremy Barrow, Stacey Barrow, Johnathan Dobbel, Collin Dobbel, Kellye Harrell (Bobby), Mathew Dobbel (Anna), Courtney McDonald (Joseph), Jon Barrow and Benjamin Paul Barrow.
In remembrance of Taeko Shibata Dobbel, the family kindly requests that donations be made to St. Jude's and SGI-USA as a testament to her unwavering dedication to spreading the teachings of Nichiren Buddhism.
