We are sad to announce that on May 7, 2023, at the age of 63, Sharon Shumate Walizer of Panama City, Florida, born in McRae, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Kary B. Shumate, Sr.; her siblings, Kary "Ricky" Shumate, Jr. and Kathy Westbrook; and her brother-in-law Julian Lee Walizer. She is survived by: her daughter Carrie; her husband James Walizer; her brother John Shumate (Barbara J. Shumate); her son Ben Walizer; her daughter-in-law Cassie Walizer; her granddaughters, Carrie Walizer, Madelyn and Charlotte Walizer; her mother-in-law Lora Mae Walizer; and her sister-in-law Glenda Brown. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and close friends.
