He was predeceased by: his parents, Combs Jr. and Ann E. Cox; and his sister Constance Wilson. He is survived by: his wife Mary Laurie Fraser; his children, Jason Combs of Savannah and Audrey Combs Schmidt (Steve); and his granddaughter Annabelle Laurie Schmidt.
