It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rose Chaknis (Panama City, Florida), born in New York, New York, who passed away on February 10, 2024, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Nicholas Chaknis; and her brother Anthony. She is survived by: her children, Paul Chaknis, Maria McKinney (Rick), Anthony Chaknis (Pat) and Amy Hoyt (Robert). She is also survived by six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
