He was predeceased by: his parents, Mervyn John Straley and Ruth Mallow Straley. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Straley (Betsy); his brother Adrian Straley (Margaret) of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; his stepsons, Shaun Herring (Jessica) of Panama City and David Herring (Natalie) of Gaithersburg, Maryland; his grandchildren, Zack, Bruce and Blake of Gaithersburg, Maryland; his nephew Christopher Straley of New Orleans, Louisiana; and his niece Miriam Beasley of Denham Springs, Louisiana.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Charlie Coram's Place.
